What we do

The scope is the project.

Most remodels go sideways for the same reason: the scope was never written down clearly at the start. Somebody assumed the sink was staying put. Somebody else assumed the wall was coming out. Six weeks in, those assumptions collide and it costs money.

We start the other way around. You tell us what you want in plain language, we draft the work item by item, and you correct it before anybody prices anything. That document follows the project all the way through.

Kitchens

Cabinets, counters, appliances, lighting, and the layout question almost everyone asks: can this wall come out? Sometimes it can and it is straightforward. Sometimes it needs a beam and an engineer. We tell you which one you are dealing with after we look, not from a photograph.

Bathrooms

Primary suites, guest baths, and accessibility work. The single biggest cost driver is whether fixtures move. Keeping the toilet and shower where they are is a very different project from relocating them, and it is worth deciding early.

Whole-house

When the work touches most of the house at once, sequencing matters more than anything. Which trades go when, what has to be ordered months ahead, and where you will actually live while it happens.

Common questions

Things people ask us first

Do I need to move out?
Usually not. Most of our clients stay in the house. We phase the work, seal the area, and keep the noisy days predictable so you can plan around them.
How long does a kitchen take?
It depends on the scope, the selections, and how quickly materials arrive. We give you a realistic schedule after we walk the space, not before.
Do I need permits?
Often yes, and it depends on your exact jurisdiction rather than your mailing address. We confirm that with the building department rather than guessing.
Can you tell me the cost from photos?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Photos give us the scope. Pricing comes from Scotty after a real conversation about your project.
