Veterans Building Forward

Resources for veterans and their families

There are organizations that work on accessible home modifications, repairs, and housing for veterans. We are a construction company, not a benefits office — so what we can usefully do is point you at the people who actually run these programs.

What this page is, and is not

eRe Construction does not administer any veteran program and cannot determine whether you qualify for one. We cannot guarantee assistance, eligibility, funding, or a timeline. Each organization below sets its own rules, and those rules change. Always confirm the current details with the organization itself.

Where to start

Operation Finally Home

A national non-profit that works with builders and communities on housing for veterans and their families. Their site describes current programs and how to get in touch.

What we can help with directly

The construction side. If you are planning accessibility work — a curbless shower, wider doorways, ramps, grab-bar blocking, a bathroom that works with a wheelchair — that is ordinary remodeling work and we can scope it the same as any other project.

If you are applying to a program that needs a scope of work from a contractor, the document our estimator produces may be a useful starting point for that conversation.

Thank you for your service. If a resource on this page is out of date or a link is broken, tell us and we will fix it.
